Director of Marketing Internship (China Market)

The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing the advertising strategies and marketing campaigns for Smeester International in China. This position works closely with the President and CEO. The goal is to develop creative direction for print and online marketing efforts as well as all aspects of the company’s evolving brand and enrollment initiatives. Work will involve the areas of market research and data analysis, social media, the development and writing of marketing plans, creative briefs and storyboarding, and media planning. At times, this position will serve as a marketing writer.

Essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:
  • Enrollment marketing strategy and planning
  • Advertising management
  • Market research
  • Digital and social media management
  • Universal website development
  • Brand strategy

Job Summary:

Sales and Business Development Internship, China Market, will develop a strategic sales and business development plan and execute Smeester International's go to market strategy in China.

Job Duties:
  • Identify, engage, and close business at strategic accounts
  • Drive rigorous sales execution and oversight, ensuring accurate forecasts and total transparency
  • Identify untapped market potential then design and implement sales plans to capture it
  • Prepare analysis and recommendations for strategic decision making and investment
  • Build executive presentations, crafting the message of Sales
  • Interpret key performance metrics, and craft plans to address identified needs and opportunities
  • Identify risk factors for customer attrition and how to maximize customer success and tenure
